What is a Southern Living Custom Builder?

A Southern Living Custom Builder is a part of the prestigious Southern Living Custom Builder program. Morning Star Builders is proud to be a part of this invite-only program for the top custom builders in the South. Builders are selected based on the following criteria: detailed craftsmanship, excellence in customer service, financial stability, and use of quality building materials.

What is a Southern Living Custom Builder Showcase Home?

Builders who are a part of the Southern Living Custom Builder program have the opportunity to build showcase homes that feature Southern Living house plans, partnership brands, and more. These showcase homes boast authentic details, quality products, and classic styling– all of which are essential to the Southern Living brand.

Our Newest Showcase Home: The Round Top Cottage

We are thrilled to share that our newest showcase home for the Southern Living Custom Builder program will be opening this Fall near Round Top, TX! The cottage features:

• 4 bedrooms
• 5 bathrooms
• Butler’s pantry
• Game room
• Oversized screened-in back porch
• Multiple outdoor living areas, including The Garden, outdoor dining, sports areas, and more
