Join us on Wednesday, March 5th, at 5:45 p.m. in the Haw Creek Chapel for a powerful service of Music and Meditations with the critically-acclaimed Axiom String Quartet. This Ash Wednesday service includes Four Meditations on Philip Glass' stunning String Quartet No. 3, 'Mishima.' Between movements Father Bill will share four contemplative meditations preparing us for the season of Lent: Giving Up (Simplicity), Taking On (Practice), Looking In (Penitence), and Longing For (Desire). This unique service will be the first time the Glass musical masterpiece has been featured in a religious service with accompanying meditations.
